ChatGPT meeting notes, from every meeting.

Add Laxis as an app in ChatGPT and it can search and read every meeting you've captured — Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, phone and in person — then write the follow-up, the minutes or the recap from what was actually said.

Why ChatGPT + Laxis

ChatGPT writes fast. Laxis makes sure it writes the truth.

01

Follow-ups in one line

“Write the follow-up for my last call.” ChatGPT pulls the commitments from the transcript and drafts the email in your tone.

02

Minutes and recaps that cite the meeting

Meeting minutes, status updates and summaries built from the actual conversation, not from what you remember of it.

03

All your meetings, not just one

ChatGPT's own Record captures a conversation inside ChatGPT. Laxis brings every meeting from everywhere — searchable across your whole history.

Setup

Connect Laxis to ChatGPT

Laxis is a read-only MCP app, so it works in ChatGPT's Developer Mode on ChatGPT web.

  1. 1

    Turn on Developer Mode

In ChatGPT open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and enable Developer Mode. In a Business, Enterprise or Edu workspace an admin may need to enable it first.

  2. 2

    Create the Laxis app

Back in Apps & Connectors choose Create. Name it Laxis, add a short description, paste the server URL and select OAuth for authentication.

    https://app.laxis.com/mcp
  3. 3

    Sign in with Laxis

Click Scan tools, approve the Laxis sign-in in your browser, then Create. ChatGPT lists the Laxis tools it found.

  4. 4

    Use Laxis in a chat

In a new chat click + → More → Laxis, then ask “What did we agree on in this morning's call?” ChatGPT looks it up and answers.

Things to ask ChatGPT

Mention the meeting or the task and ChatGPT calls Laxis when it needs the facts.

“Write meeting minutes for today's steering committee in our standard format.”

Agenda, decisions, action items and owners — from the transcript.

“Summarize my last three calls with Acme in a short status update for my manager.”

A three-paragraph update with the latest commitments and risks.

“Turn the customer's requirements from Tuesday's discovery call into a proposal outline.”

An outline whose sections map to what the customer asked for.

“Which of my action items from this week haven't been done?”

Open items collected across meetings, grouped by who you owe.

“Draft CRM notes for the Northwind call: pain, budget, timeline, next step.”

Structured notes you can paste into HubSpot or Salesforce.

“Give me talking points for my call in ten minutes.”

Open threads and promises from every previous conversation with them.

Workflows teams build with ChatGPT + Laxis

Where ChatGPT is already open all day, your meetings should be too.

01

Post-call routine

After every customer call: “Summarize, draft the follow-up, list next steps.” One prompt, three outputs, all grounded in the transcript — then paste the notes into your CRM or let Zapier do it.

02

Weekly minutes

Ask ChatGPT each Friday to produce minutes for the week's recurring meetings in your template, with action items carried over from the previous week.

03

Proposal from discovery

Run a discovery call with Laxis recording, then have ChatGPT turn the customer's own words into the proposal's requirements and success criteria.

ChatGPT + Laxis: questions

ChatGPT has a Record feature for capturing a conversation inside ChatGPT, but it does not join your Zoom, Google Meet or Teams calls or keep a searchable history of them. Laxis records every meeting without a bot and keeps the transcripts, summaries and action items. With the Laxis app connected, ChatGPT can use all of that.

ChatGPT can work with audio in some cases, but for meetings the practical path is Laxis: it transcribes calls and in-person conversations in 100+ languages, with speakers identified, and ChatGPT reads the result through the connector.

Yes. ChatGPT connects to remote MCP servers as apps (previously called custom connectors) through Developer Mode. Laxis is a remote, read-only MCP server, which is the kind Developer Mode supports.

Developer Mode is available in ChatGPT Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces, where an admin may need to enable it first. For individual plans, OpenAI's Developer Mode help page has the current list.

Read, not write. ChatGPT can list your meetings, search transcripts and read summaries, participants and full transcripts. It cannot change or delete anything in your Laxis account.

The MCP connector comes with Laxis Premium, Business and Enterprise, and with the 14-day Premium trial on every new account.
